Johanneshof Reinisch Pinot Noir is made with grapes grown predominantly in the chalk rich soiled vineyards around Tattendorf in Lower Austria, ideal for this typical Burgundian variety.

With the goal of producing a lean, fruity wine this is aged in only large wooden barrels. On the nose the wine has delicate aromas of berry fruit. Elegant with attractive sweet fruit.

Straw yellow in colour with delicate citrus and melon aromas and a hint of fresh cut grass. Well balanced melon, citrus and herbal notes with a crisp acidity that makes this wine racy and refreshing. Good volume that fills the palate giving a pleasant and lingering finish.

Dense purple colour with blue tinges; lifted floral notes, a touch of violets with ripe black fruit aromas, youthful; medium bodied, fresh, soft and extremely approachable.
