Beautifully expressive white wine from Galicia in North West Spain. Produced from the indigenous Albariño grape variety, the nose displays floral notes of rose petals. The palate is dry with grapefruit flavours balanced by a mouth watering acidity.

Bodegas Criadores de Rioja typifies twenty-first century Rioja in its careful balancing of tradition and innovation. The winery was established in 2000 with a view to modernising the production of Rioja wines whilst working with the scores of small, local growers to make wines that reflect the quality and history of Rioja. Under the careful eye of young winemaker Paloma Redondo, the winery is a palace of stainless steel - with oak barrels being used sparingly - but the wines themselves are true to the region, and eschew the vogue for an 'international style'.

This wine maybe pale in colour but it is no shrinking violet, with soft lemon and peach fruit on the nose and a crisply pressed palate with more citrus and peach notes and a subtle hint of fresh white flowers.
