This merlot is the result of the combination of grapes from our different high altitude vineyards. Soft and elegant in the mouth, great concentration of fruit with hints of plum and dry fruit, accompanied by the vanilla and toast from the use of French and American oak barrels.
«Dark crimson. Sweet 'bloody' nose. Lots of fine tannins and a bit of refreshing acidity on the finish. Real substance to this wine - not a bad price for so much character. Perhaps just slightly aggressive dry oak tannins.» (Jancis Robinson)
