Consisting mainly of press wine – the last drops pressed from the skins after fermentation – this blend is concentrated in the extreme. Its texture is thick and dense. Flavours cover the whole spectrum, with the Crucible Shiraz giving the wine an rich savouriness on the mid-palate. The spiciness of French Oak (25% new) lends an an air of sophistication to this off-beat wine. Big, bold and juicy – a wine to ward off evil spirits or just to enjoy.
This wine has intense ruby color made from hand picked grapes on south facing sea slopes on the island of Hvar. This wine was fermented in stainless steel tanks and had a typical Plavac Mali ('little blue") plummy flavor and herbaceous nose. This is an eco-friendly wine that works very well with lamb, game and hard cheeses.
Pale red in colour, this wine shows plums, fresh banana and berries on the nose, combining on a juicy, soft palate with subtle spicy flavours. An easy-drinking, everyday wine.
Malma wines are produced from manually harvested grapes from selected vineyards, and aged for 6 months in French and American oak. Thia adds a layer of compexity whilst the fresh fruitiness of the wines is maintained and their unique Patagonian personality preserved.
