Good depth of colour, garnet with brick red rim. Open and spicy nose with notes of dried fruits, woodsmoke and leather. Quite full flavoured with good concentration of approachable damson and wild cherry fruit, a warm and velvety mid-palate leading to the characteristic firm, structured finish.
This wine offers a deep red colour and scents reminiscent of black fruits, plums and chocolate, combined with vanilla and toasted aromas produced by 10 months in French oak barrels. In the mouth it is round and balanced.
The Merlot shows a rich deep colour. On the nose, aromas of plum, chocolate, coffee and spice abound. The wine is full with soft ripe tannins and excellent wood integration.
